Smarten Up! for Women's Fall Fashion is coming to Eastgate Square in August.

Smarten Up! features a contest where three women will win complete makeovers. Smarten Up! runs from Aug. 13 to Sept. 2. One winner will be picked from each of three age categories: 16-25 years, 26-39 years and 40- plus years.

Shoppers are encouraged to enter themselves or a friend, for a chance to win one of the three free makeovers with a value of more than $1,000 each, including hair, makeup, fragrance and $500 worth of clothing from Eastgate chosen during a shopping expedition with a personal shopper.

To enter, contestants must provide three photos plus an essay of 200 words or more on why they want a fashion consultation with a personal shopper.

All entries must be dropped off at the Eastgate Square Customer Service kiosk by Sept. 2. Winners will be notified and consultations will be arranged with the personal shopper, HairCrafters hair stylist and Shoppers Drug Mart beauty consultant along with many other perks.

On Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. in Eastgate's Bay Court the three winners will model their new fall fashions. The personal shopper, HairCrafters stylist and Shoppers Drug Mart beauty consultant will be on hand to answer questions regarding the latest style trends, with giveaways and prizes for audience participants supplied by a variety of mall merchants.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to offer women the chance to win a fashion makeover and style consultation with a personal shopper.

"We have terrific fashion retailers as part of our tenant mix and it gives us a chance to let the public see the latest style trends from the fashion capitals and style magazines on display right here at Eastgate Square," said Katie Simpson, marketing manager at Eastgate Square.
